Had a quick dinner with Michael, my old neighbor at Cal.
College Avenue = good times.
We decided to get some homestyle Korean comfort food at Gamjabawi.

Banchan was average and plain. Both our dishes came with a bowl of flavorful soup that had a seafood base.
The dolsot bibimbap is about $7 and comes in a huge bowl. I saved half as leftovers for my next day meal. Very filling, although the spicy soy sauce could use more heat.
Loved the crispy rice at the bottom of the sizzling stone bowl. Totally beats the weird brown stuff on the bottom of my rice cooker.
